Locking the doors to Catholic chapels on military bases? The shutdown reveals President Obama’s priorities—and religious freedom isn’t one of them.
Many Catholics don’t accept the truth about marriage because they don’t accept—or even know—the truth about sex. It’s time to break silence and tell them the truth.
Are only children–and their parents–better off? Yes, says the author of a new book, One and Only: The Freedom of Having an Only Child and the Joy of Being One. Her warped feminist lens sees parenting as a zero-sum game and each child as a potential threat to a woman’s ‘authentic self.’ She’s couldn’t be more wrong.
Are the Girl Scouts neutral on abortion? Hardly. They recently sponsored a live screening and panel discussion of the feminist documentary, MAKERS, which presents abortion as essential to women’s autonomy. Headliners for the event included Amy Richards, whose “groundbreaking” MAKERS video describes her decision to “get rid of” two of her three triplets through selective reduction. Catholic moms, committed not only to raising their children well in secular terms, but also to raising them right in the eyes of God, are looking for something akin to spiritual mothering.
She’s fearless. She’s charismatic. She’s radiant. A modern evangelist, Annie basks in Christ’s love and shares it with a simple, winsome touch. A heart overflowing with love is a powerful testimony, I’ve learned. “We love because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19). Annie’s love spills over, mysteriously opening hearts long shut to God’s mercy…
